TMAG Economics Committee
Economics Committee Charter and Mission
The Ecomomics Committee studies economic justifications for DFT, especially in the area of
Return on Investment (ROI). Our goal is to provide tools and methodologies to assist
test engineers in convincing management that DFT provides substantial ROI, and thus should be
supported. We will also provide tools to assist the test engineer in evaluating the return of
specific DFT methodologies, so that they can recommend the most profitable ones.
